The Crooked Spoon Restaurant in Clermont, Florida

This is our fourth visit to the Crooked Spoon. They have a wide variety of mouth-watering appetizers, handhelds, and entrees. For appetizers, we had calamari. This is not your average calamari dish. Excellent with a blend of acidity and tender calamari, artichokes, and peppers.  It is hard to choose. Everything we have tried is full of flavor.  The kettle chips with the balsamic vinaigrette and tons of blue cheese are simply delicious. Great combo! This is my second time having the Grouper Reuben. A combination of two of my favorite sandwiches reimagined with great success. My lunch companions had the Spinach – BLT salad with Chicken and the 3 Cheese with Chives Omelette.

Great meal and we hope to be back soon as it is one of our favorite restaurants in Clermont.

Grouper Reuben – Blackened Grouper, Swiss, dill pineapple slaw, thousand islands, grilled marble rye
with a side of their delicious Kettle chips – bleu cheese vin, crumbled bleu cheese, chives.
Calamari – Fresh hand-breaded calamari, artichokes, sweet tri-color peppers, aged balsamic reduction, remoulade, lemon.
Spinach BLT Salad with Chicken – Arugula, spinach, pickled heirlooms, bacon Dijon vin, smoked bacon lardons, red onion, goat cheese, grilled crostini.
Three Cheese & Chive Omelette – Swiss, cheddar, queso fresco, chives.

It was a great lunch with delicious food all around. It is undoubtedly one of the most unique restaurants in Clermont. You can tell that the chef is pushing the envelope with his creations, and our taste buds benefit from his artistry.
