Millenium Cedar Grill in Clermont, Florida
Our weekly excursion to find a new restaurant in Clermont took us to Millenium Cedar Grill. We wanted Mediterranean food, and it turned out to be an excellent experience. The waiter, Luis, was very friendly and very attentive. He made a fresh pot of coffee to accommodate my need for caffeine at 2 pm. He asked me if I wanted it with milk. I was expecting the standard single-serve creamer cup, but the coffee came with milk frothy foam. Pleasant surprise!
When we go to a new restaurant, we like to sample a variety of plates, so we tend to over-order. Plus, it works out for the next day. Although, in this case, the leftovers did not make it to the next day because we had them for dinner. And now, working on this post and looking at the photos… I am hungry again.
We ordered the Cedar Grill Sampler for an appetizer. It came with Kibbeh, Falafel, Grape Leaves, Baba Ghanouj, Hummus, Tahini, and pita bread. Delicious!!! Everything was flavorful. They also put a garlic spread which both my wife and I enjoyed.
Mixed Shish Platter, which came with shish kabob, shish tawook, and two kafta patties. Accompanied with two side options. We select salad and rice.
Mixed Shawarma Platter, which came with a mix of marinated chicken and meat shawarma. Also accompanied by two side options. We selected another salad and the Venezuelan Style Chicken soup, which is made with corn, carrots, and potatoes.
It was a wonderful dining experience. Next visit, we plan to order the lamb and gyro.
If you live or are visiting Clermont, this place is definitely a great place to visit. Delicious food and good prices.
Whether you are ordering to go or eating in the restaurant, we fully recommend Millenium Cedar Grill.
